2x2 Jungle Tree Bug

A giant jungle tree needs at least 1 block space adjacent when planted as 4 saplings (2x2). In your evidence video there are snow layers touching the saplings. Also see Minecraft Wiki/Sapling#Usage.

However, this issue has been closed as Working as Intended.

In order to grow a 2×2 tree there may be no blocks adjacent (even diagonally) to the north-western sapling up to the final height of the tree. (Wiki ref)
