My Nether appears to have been reset when I converted my world...as a considerable amount of effort and time has went into developing mine, so I'm concerned.

I will doublecheck that, I was operating under default settings (which I assumed would be set for "Best Practices" for world conversion, and resetting stuff don't jibe with that, but I guess I best not assume anything.)
I've managed to convert a world (albeit a month old) with an intact Nether (and everything else I looked at) , and the same (default, because I never even looked at them) settings, so its not a setting, its a bug, probably cocurrent with and related to the terrain rewrite bug.
I'm going to try to subvert both of them by going back to the XB1v and saving my current world in the Nether and see what happens, as the one I successfuly converted was saved there.
Thank you for your report!

Latest version? I'd guess not, but frankly I can't be bothered with Bedrock anymore.
Conversion is an issue which should have been sorted before bringing it out of Beta and freezing Xbox One users out of being able to update CE on their consoles. I've only ever had the one Survival world and as recently as a month or two ago ago it STILL wouldn't convert correctly (although if memory serves the Nether, at least, wasn't reset)...
I'd strongly prefer to just be able to play with all updates on CE at this point. I was one of the people saying "don't worry, I'm sure everything will be fine" when Bedrock (and its forced "upgrade") was announced. I was SO wrong. You have basically driven me from the game. CE doesn't get updated with new stuff, and PE/Bedrock not only doesn't convert my world, the one I've put every bit of effort into, its ugly (the trade UI for instance looks like something designed with Visual Basic by a rank amateur circa 1995) and clumsy. I'm mortified I expressed confidence in y'all "getting it right".
I should be playing with my Survival world on Realms right now, I had a few people interested, but how can I play on Realms when my world won't even convert?
SHAME. SHAME ON YOU.
Iām going to try to reproduce this issue on my side, I will get back to you when I have results.
