Okay, I am not sure this is a bug, as it is intended to be in the game. I still more of an inconvenience than a bug, but I still think this needs to be addressed.
I have probably the worst PC ever and everything is running smoothly for me on all the version so listed. Are You awareness of anything triggering this extreme CPU usage?
Hold up, isn’t the ‘You’re controller..” thing being shown within Minecraft itself? Because that could change everything I just said.
This is a limitation of the console hardware. No matter what you’re playing or what you’re doing, with a wireless controller it will sleep after a certain amount of time. There is really no way to prevent this on Mojangs side.
Also, I did you have nether resets selected on Xbox one edition at the time of this conversion?
This isn’t so much a bug. More of a complaint. As much as I agree with this, I don’t think it belongs on the bug tracker. I think you should repost this on the forums.
I’m going to try to reproduce this issue on my side, I will get back to you when I have results.
You shouldn’t need to port forward to join through Xbox Live. Your PC is on 1.2.0.22 and they’re Xbox One is on 1.2.0.20. The versions are currently incompatible. Please wait for a 1.2.0.22 release on Xbox One. Also one more thing you could try is have them join you or you join them (whatever was the opposite to who was joining who before)
But yeah, this is most likely not a bug.
This shouldn’t be happening.Just to confirm, are they all signed in to Xbox live too?
No, the void would just hide them most likely. If you can’t kill them with /kill then the void probably couldn’t kill them either, they will just sit at the bottom of the void forever.
Okay, that is some really helpful information. Thanks.
Intesting, if I where you I would just drop them in to the void while you wait for this issue to be addressed. (You Can now break bedrock on 1.2)
This issue has been recognised. But please note that the developers are extremely busy with this better together update and more important bug fixes.
Yes, /kill should be definite no matter the circumstance. I’m going to try to reproduce this issue on my side, I will get back to you once I get results.
Going to try and reproduce this issue on my side, I will get back to you when I get results. Thank you for the report.
Most likely answer: You still had YouTube running in the background of your Xbox One and W hen Minecraft crashed (which is happening for loads of people at the moment) your Xbox One opened the only other application running on your console, YouTube. Try pressing the three lines on top of each other button on your controller on the YouTube app and selecting ‘Quit’, this will stop YouTube from running in the background. Then wait until Minecraft crahses again Andy let me know if it still opens the YouTube app.
The only other answer I could come up with is that the update somehow got slightly corrupt and is bugging out your Minecraft. Once again, reinstalling would be your best bet.
But yeah, this is weird as you’re PC should be able to run Minecraft perfectly. Possible removing your resource packs could make a change. (Maybe it’s causing lag due to bad compatibility with 1.1.5.0, I don’t know)
No, you would not have to repurchase Minecraft on your device. You’re license for the game would be synced with your Microsoft account.
Alright.
