After playing 2-3 hour sessions at a time, and on 2 seperate occasions, minecraft beta crashed and would suddenly open my youtube app. No other game does this for me and no other app has ever opened like that before. I did NOT press the home button and on one of those instances, the console was left on and i had stepped away for abt 45 minutes. When i returned, the game i was in had neared the 2 hour mark roughly, and i suddenly found Youtube had been opened again and automatically playing videos AGAIN. The time before that, I witnessed it crash and open youtube on its own.

Most likely answer: You still had YouTube running in the background of your Xbox One and W hen Minecraft crashed (which is happening for loads of people at the moment) your Xbox One opened the only other application running on your console, YouTube. Try pressing the three lines on top of each other button on your controller on the YouTube app and selecting ‘Quit’, this will stop YouTube from running in the background. Then wait until Minecraft crahses again Andy let me know if it still opens the YouTube app.
