/testfor @p[r=5] {SelectedItem:{id:"minecraft:paper",tag:{display:{Name:"Item Name"}}}}
and every other variation I could find on the internet doesn't work. It's always the same error:
Syntax error: Unexpected "{": at "r @p[r=5] >>{<<SelectedIt"
This code works perfectly for PC

I have the same issue. Xbox One. Bedrock edition. Attempting command /testforblock 378 171 68 chest -1 {Items:[{id:"minecraft:sapling"}]}
I get:
Syntax error: Unexpected "{": at "68 chest -1 >>{<<["
This happens in both command blocks and the console
