Whilst playing Minecraft on Windows 10 connected to a Minecraft Realm (Currently a Trial realm) and running as "fullscreen". When I use Alt+Tab to use a different monitor/access a different window I find that upon my return to Minecraft there appears to be a desync between myself and the server which ultimately disconnects me from the realm. This happens frequently and on every attempt using my hardware.
Notes on Setup:
Currently running 3 monitors with Minecraft on the central monitor.
Steps to Replicate:
Launch Minecraft
Connect to an active Realm
Ensure realm is working as expected
Alt Tab to use a different screen/window
--> e.g. a web browser to check Minecraft wiki
Alt Tab back to Minecraft
Continue to play
--> User may notice that chests fail to open/populat
Game disconnects
Expected:
Server to remain connected and activities to continue running whilst user has Alt+Tab

Duplicate of MCPE-28445.
Workaround: Run Minecraft in a maximized window instead of fullscreen mode, and do not minimize the window when switching to another task. (You can restore or resize the window if you need to see your desktop, just don't minimize it.)
I don't understand why this is marked as fixed. Playing the game as windowed is not a fix for the bug, it's just a workaround.
upvoted, same is true for me.
hardware used:
MS Surface Pro 4
working in:
Windows 10, Tablet Mode (fullscreen it would be then)
game version:
1.2.10
description:
local client is connected to a realm
alt-tab to switch to different application (windows-tab has same effect)
other players present on the realm will immediately see the player disconnect
local player can switch back into the client, but will only see the disconnect after a few secons / movement / action in the game
reconnect right afterwards without issues
