Hello. I noticed that when I was trying to create more pistons and put them in my storage chest, that they wouldn't stack. I had to place them side by side in the chest with one stack holding 2 pistons and the other holding 12. They were the exact same type of piston too. The only way I could get around this was to physically place all of the pistons on the ground, and break them with my pickaxe. For a while, this would fix my problem of stacking in storage. But then my 3rd time doing this I lost all of my new pistons that I made when I opened my inventory.
(I have also had the exact same problem with Sticky Pistons too.)
I hope that this can be addressed soon. I love the game and would love to see it be even better in future.
Thank you.

@ryan K - When you say stacking are you referring to when you initially create the pistons, or when they are already created and when you're trying to place them into the chest? Sorry in your initial post it was unclear if it was during creation or when trying to deposit into a chest. Or both I suppose? The reason I ask, is the update before the last (1.2.6-bedrock) was supposed to address this issue.

Pistons will now stack in the inventory and will not be lost after crafting"

Yes. When I had the problem, it was both. I had old pistons in chests, and when I'd try to put new ones in, it wouldn't. And then a different time when I'd try to create a handful of them (while trying to take the old ones from my chest and into my inventory, so I could find a way of stacking them), I'd create the new ones, with the old ones on my person, and the new ones would just get deleted. I lost all my resources too when creating them.
I haven't tried to recreate this issue in the new update yet, but as far as I can see the stacking in the chests has been fixed.
(And i'm having trouble trying to take down my submissions on this website. A few of my problems have been fixed, and I'd like to help clean up my mess for y'all's already busy workload. Thank you for your time.)
I have had a the same issue since the better together update.
