I will create a world on the Skyrim template in survival mode and then open it up to play and it will actually be in creative mode. BUT I usually play in multiplayer and the next person with sign in as player two and they’ll be in survival mode but I’ll still be in creative mode.

@Jonathan The Xbox one edition recently received a update to bring it up to date with the other console editions.
@Mikayla Can verify what version you have this issue on?
Currently there are 2 versions of Minecraft available for xbox one:
If you are on Minecraft Xbox one edition there will be a big banner on the title screen saying Minecraft Xbox one edition.
If you are on Minecraft (bedrock codebase) the banner just says Minecraft (without xbox one edition) and in the bottom right corner there will be a version displayed (current 1.2.8).
(The resolved status just means answered and we are waiting for more information)
