(I always feel bad having to start a new Issue, but I couldn't find one that existed for my console or version yet.)
After the new update, my Mending Enchant on all my tools don't work. The only one I noticed that still works right is the Sword. But XP orbs don't heal Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, or Fishing Rod. There might be more, but those are the ones that I noticed.
Sorry to be a bother. I know y'all are busy.
Thank you again.

Yes.
I think I might've found out what the problem is.
I just started to use Mending on all my armor too. I thought it would still go to the item held in my hand. But a staff member corrected me:
https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Enchanting#Mending
That the Mending is random and picks one of the items. I found it easier to take off all armor, and try again, and it works fine. I goofed. >~<;
Thank you for your report!
However, this issue has been closed as Cannot Reproduce.
We were unable to reproduce the problem you are describing in the latest version.
As described in the wiki:
If multiple items have the enchantment, one will be chosen at random for each XP orb collected, and if the chosen item does not need repair, the XP will be added to the player's total as normal, rather than choosing another item to repair.

I had this same issue. My netherite pickaxe with mending would not mend. All my other gear with mending worked fine and mended properly. So I tried removing all my gear (netherite sword with sharpness V, helmet, chest plate, leggings, and boots. All with mending) into a chest except for my netherite pickaxe. It still would not mend. Then I logged out and back in only to find that my chest plate, leggings, boots, and sword had disappeared from the chest. My netherite helmet was still there.
They work for me. Do you have your Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, or Fishing Rod in your main hand when you collect the XP? For the Mending to work, you have to be holding or wearing the item you want mended.
