Hey,
I was told by Mojang Support on Twitter to report this bug here. So yesterday, I found out that my chat on Windows 10 became extremely slow. I would type a whole sentence and it would show a few characters and then take 3-4 seconds to type each of the remaining characters. This also occurs when I attempt to backspace.
Please fix this as soon as possible, as this bug is very annoying!

However, this issue is a duplicate of MCPE-28255. Please add your vote to that issue, and comment there if you have additional information to add.
