Singleplayer save acting strange

So lately ive been playing my single player survival world, and I save everytime I get off. The problem is the next time I get on, I am not in the same place (location) as when I last saved and I'm missing items from inventory only. It almost seems like when I log back on it loads up a previous save not my most recent. Twice ive loaded back with all my items that I was missing before but I was still in a totally random spot on the world. I'm always in the general area of my house but always a different part then where I saved. and I'm certain I didn't save in that location.

You need to wait for xbox to login or it would use a different "local" account. Or it may be possible that you just directly closed minecraft without exiting to the menu screen first.

it works for me if i close minecraft on pc windows 10 i stay at the same location where i saved

I always wait for Xbox to login before I play because I know that if you don't, it uses a different local account, yes. I also always go to the main menu before closing out as a habit so I know neither of those are the issue. Maybe it's storage space or something as I know my PC has low storage capacity so I'll have to look into that.

Try restarting the game. This is a duplicate of MCPE-29863, a known bug that should be corrected soon.
