same to me too

I’m sure it has to do with the ‘bug fixes’ of last update, as it might be a change in texture for the ui. If you’re on the Windows 10 Edition, I’m not sure as some screenshots show no resource pack in use.

This issue occurs with the Faithful64x64 texture pack, and possibly others. Can you reproduce the problem with no texture packs active?
Possible workaround for Windows 10:
To remove texture packs, go to your %UserProfile\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\resource_packs folder and delete the subfolders. This is equivalent to deleting them in Settings > Storage within the game, but you can do it outside the game.
If you have texture packs applied in specific games (game settings > Resource Packs), you may have to remove those as well.

I don't know how to get into the setting on pc to change or remove texture packs from my iPhone. the faithful pack is not showing on my mojang account on pc. I cant get into setting on iPhone because the game will not load.

Possible workaround for iOS:
On iOS, connect your phone to a PC and use iExplorer or iFunbox to access the game files. Go to apps/Minecraft/games/com.mojang/resource_packs and delete the subfolders for the packs causing a problem. Or, you can just delete the resource_packs folder itself, which will delete all of them.

well, i found one resource pack tho. I deleted it and it worked! thanks Auldrick 😃

@Krystof - Sometimes there can be texture packs present that don't show up in the menus. Try checking the folder I mentioned above. If there are any subfolders, delete them. Then look in the minecraftWorlds folder (it's in the same parent folder as resource_packs) but don't delete any subfolders (those are your worlds). Instead, look in each subfolder (they have random names) for a resource_packs folder, and delete its contents.
If all the resource_packs folders you find are already empty, so you found nothing to delete, be sure to let us know. The difference is that in that case, this could be a bug in the actual game and not a texture pack problem after all.

Also note the non-pixelated splash, text and icons

This also happens for iPad Pro
