I found na very, very, very full village, I'm almost sure than there was more than 20 villagers, but there was no iron golem.
I will annex some screenshots of the village to you se how it was full, more than 5 villagers per house

Looked this up because I have found the spawn rate for my iron golem farm dropped significantly in 1.2.10 and wondered if anyone else had the same problem...
