Drag and drop disappeared again from the classic ui of touchscreen devices like my android.
This issue was also affecting the last beta but it got fixed in the 1.2.10 full release but now it returned again in the current beta 1.2.13.5

Please don't duplicate issues unnecessarily, this issue was marked as Working As Intended previously. The reason it changed is because it's part of the newer UI changes included in the beta versions at the moment.

Yes I agree. It's really annoying, one update we have it we don't. Make up your mind already! Everyone likes the drag and drop from 1.2.10 and not this pathetic attempt. It's only making already hard life for touch users way harder. If you think it's a good idea then fine, introduce it but as an OPTION, it's called classic UI because it is supposed to have same funktions as classic PC crafting. It's just not fair to make touch users life way harder just because it "seems like a good idea"
Everyone including me would like drag and drop as in 1.2.10
And also when drag and drop was in newer updates when you craft something it's not in your "hand" like when you move items, it just goes in inventory if there is space.
I would really like this issue to be solved because I have to take an enchanted book, put it in my hotbar, select it, and THEN see what enchantments it contains.
In other words drag and drop is WAY better.
