Attempting to use the "minecraft:transformation" component to convert a projectile (ex. Snowball) into another projectile (ex. Arrow) won't keep the original projectile's inertia and will keep the transformed projectile steady in the air.

@Mega_Spud I just attached a behavior pack to my post so you can install it and see.
Once you have the pack installed, shoot an arrow with a Bow. The Arrow is successfully transformed into a Snowball, but it doesn't keep the Arrow's thrown force.
