Spent 3 hours last night with girlfriend trying to kill ender dragon. After over 30 deaths we finally got all the pillars down and started attacking him.
We got him to about 10% hp and he killed us. As we got back in, an enderman walked into the cloud that killed us and it provoked him to attack the dragon. Next thing I know the dragon is stuck flying inside one of the pillars and flashing red inside it. We get killed by endermen while trying to reach it and by the time we get back in there is no dragon and the portal with the dragon egg is open.
We got no achievement and no experience points after spending over 2 weeks preparing the village, trading, getting food, diamonds etc. We are so disappointed.
