Controller occasionally going crazy

What happens when the controller goes crazy?
Does the player keep on walking or inventory cursor keeps moving without input?

Evening, after reading the comments and seeing the date this was made I'd like to say this is still an issue and very often happens when in split screen as well taking over either the 2nd player or first player. So far the only fix I've come up with for this is to quit the game and reopen it.

After leaving this issue for a few months now it hasn't done it in a wile! So i personally think that it has been fixed!
