I installed the latest Minecraft update, and then started playing. Dropped items are not able to be picked up, and disappear when I get close to them. In the attached pictures, you can see the coal waiting to be picked up, and then I take 1 step closer and they’ve disappeared, but not into my inventory. They reappear if I step backward again.
UPDATE: this issue seems to have resolved itself
