Im having trouble taking down paintings. as well as my friends.

Im having trouble taking down paintings in the app, Minecraft Pocket Edition. The way you would normally take down a painting is by tapping it and/or then placing another to fit the painting you like. But now since the update, whenever i try to take the painting, it just glitches and won't go down. In order to break it, i have to break the blocks behind it and wait at least 7 seconds for it to break. I then have to replace the blocks and start the process again until i get the desired painting. My friends as well deal with the issue and they both have the Iphone 7+ so its a newer version. its very upsetting because paintings are what i use to decorate my buildings. Thank you for listening 🙂
