When one or more tamed horses in a world are dead, it rarely (around once every 10 hours I play) happens that a player teleports to the back of one of the player's tamed dead horses, thus "reviving" the horse. Last time it happened around a week ago. It happens in my own world, regardless if I play alone or with my friends. It's not a realm and cheats are not enabled. Usually it takes you ~50 blocks and the location can be elsewhere than where the horse died. When I filmed this clip, one other player was online, but this also happens if I'm alone in the world.

Since nobody else seems to have had this problem, it suggests this world might be corrupted in a minor way that the game isn't detecting. This is especially likely if the problem doesn't happen in other worlds created at a later date. If corruption is the problem, the bug was probably already fixed in a later release but the damaged worlds couldn't be repaired properly.
ok, it's probably corrupt then, i created it on i think the first day when bedrock edition was available for xbox, so it's quite old. Hasn't been happening anywhere else. It's not happened to me in many months now, but i have not played very much on that world recently.
Thank you for your reply. Since this only happens in this one world which was created back when the Xbox version was still new and buggy, I'm going to close this report as Cannot Reproduce.
Note that there have been other bugs and some fixes applied to game mechanics associated with horses. It's possible that such a fix might coincidentally heal your world, or may even have already done so!
You say it happens "rarely". How many times has it happened to you? How long ago was the last time it happened?
Is this a single player or multiplayer world? If multiplayer,
Is this a Realms world?
Are you hosting this world yourself?
Sas anyone else in the world when this happened?
Are cheats enabled in this world?
