Same here - changes to options.txt do not affect the GUI either.

Its bugging... also happening to me... there are lots of issues rendering HD content resolutions... also HD horses become ghosts, redstone dissapears... cocoa beans become cocoa building-big!!!

Thank you for your report!

I don't see how the removal of a setting is "Working as Intended." When playing on large monitors, it's like having large text for impaired vision.

Can we get some explanation as to why this was marked "works as intended"? In the Discord Helen herself said that it was a bug and that rock (another dev) confirmed it as such.

This absolutely should be reopened. Removing an option for users of one platform to fix an issue on another isn't ideal.

I agree. This should 100% be reopened. At the moment, -1 on Windows 10 Edition is more in line with GUI Scale "Large" on Java Edition. However, when you make the window height smaller, it becomes more in line with the Normal scaling. It's very inconsistent. Also, the GUI scale settings should probably be changed to 0, 1, 2, and 3 (auto, small, normal, and large) instead of 0 and -1.

GUI scaling is the primary complaint I hear about Bedrock Edition and currently, it's a mess. It’s about time this is fixed.

This shouldn't be marked as "Works As Intended", please at least allow overriding this in the config file. I don't care if it causes bugs, I've tried everything to fix this, even trying to mod the game in IDA, it would be so easy to remove the lower cap when loading from config.txt. I don't want to have to make my window smaller or deal with everything being way too big for no reason

This is totally still an issue and I find no reason to close this as "resolved".
Please allow us to change the GUI size, this game gives me headache while playing because of the too big GUI.

Not resolved. It is still an issue, especially with the GUI changing size visually from -1 to 0 / 0 to probably +1? when going into fullscreen. It is causing a ton of headaches with custom UIs on servers because elements suddenly become way bigger than intended as seen here
