Piston elevator no longer works - player drifts

So, Mumbo Jumbo’s piston elevator is now difficult to use. When the pistons fire the player seems to drift away from the center. The taller the elevator, the more the drift making very tall elevators very hard to use. Eventually I get so far out of the center that I fall through the pistons and don’t complete the journey. If I try REALLY hard I can combat the drift and make it to the top. However, that’s hard to do and I’d prefer it go back to working like it used to.
