Command Suggestions

When running commands in the Minecraft versions mentioned, suggestions are only based on original commands (see screenshot). For example, when typing in a give command as I usually do, "/give @p (or my username) command_block" but in this case, when typing my username, it suggests commands that start with the letter D, such as "/difficulty", and when typing "command_block", it suggests commands containing the letter C, as shown in the image. I believe this is also the cause of many command errors, such as not being able to understand the commands (see the other screenshot).

A note - I have only seen issues with a few commands, but suggestion error on all commands I have tried.

The screenshot below contains a username resembling mine but with some characters or phrases edited.

This bug is also present on iOS devices. Not tested on Android devices.

I'm having trouble reproducing the issue you are describing. Are you using these commands in single player, or on a server?

I have seen these problems on my and others mobile devices in single player, multiplayer, and on the client side of a personal server. I also observed this in the same version of Minecraft Windows 10 Edition running the same version. On the host side of the server, running /help works like normal.

Update: I just tested this on yet another device, and iPhone 6S, without this problem. I would normally dismiss this as an issue with just my device, but it has been present on two or three devices on different worlds but other devices.

Is it possible that the issue occurs after joining the server and persists in the main game on other worlds as well?

In other words. Do you also experience the issue if you close the game and just start a single/ multi player world?

To answer your fist question, the bug was there even before joining the server. Almost all conditions have been changed without any difference on the devices that show this.

It also does not help to reload the game and use a different world type.

Please be aware that PocketMine-MP (and forks) are not Mojang-supported software, you might experience issues with them that don't appear in vanilla gameplay. (I notice a PocketMine-MP command in the second screenshot which does not exist in vanilla.)

The screenshots were taken on a NukkitX server, as this was most convenient for me, but it is present in other devices. By now it has been a while ago, so perhaps Mojang quickly patched this.

Thank you for your report!
However, this issue has been closed as Invalid.

Unfortunately we don't accept issues related to External Servers here on the bug tracker, but please add more details if you think this also affects multiplayer over Realms, LAN, or XBL.

I'd suggest contacting the server owner directly or seeking help on the Minecraft forums.
