Ender Dragon Gone

I went to the End. I destroyed 1 End Crystal and was knocked off the ledge by the Ender Dragon and died. Upon returning to the End, I was able to reclaim all of my stuff but the Ender Dragon and it's health bar are gone. The portal home is open around the fountain, there is no egg or End City portal.

I tried using an editor to delete the End data, with the hopes of it being recreated, but all that did was recreate the End sans Dragon.

This might be related to MCPE-31765.

P.S. Before telling me that my OS version needs to be updated, know that it's a developer build and is often ahead of the current stable version.
