[MCPE-34746] Evokers take a long time to summon the vexes compared to Java Edition

You may have noticed that the evokers takes a long time to summon the vexes while the fangs do not take that long. And it also takes a while to perform the attacks

I walked/flew 28,000 blocks to find a woodland mansion and while I was clearing it out, there wasn't a single vex. Fangs galore, but not a single little flying asshole. Not that I'm complaining, because I hate those things, but there should have been vexes.

Did you wait for them to summon the vexes (in a different world or area)? Evokers only summon vexes when there are villagers, golems or players in sight, that is why you didn't see one when you first entered the mansion

I had to fight off a swarm of vindicators before I could attack the evoker... It could see me the whole time and still no vexes. I got fanged more than half a dozen times, but no vexes

Do you mean the cool down of the ability is long? for example: When ever Evoker's summon fangs it takes a while for the Evoker to use them again?

No Kind, Evokers can summon its Vexes and fangs as frequently as it wants to as long as its target stays at a distance. We are referring to the amount of time it takes the Evoker to use its summoning spell for the Vexes. This is why I uploaded the test world so that it's much easier to understand what the problem is.

BTW.... Evoker spells have different cooldown and cast time,
The wiki said that FangsAttack has a 2 seconds cast time and a 5 second cooldown. Spawb Vex attack have 5 seconds cast time and 17 seconds of cooldown.. so its not a bug.

Hey Eric! I noticed you said that Evokers summoning vexes have a 5-second cast time. It has been a while since I last updated this ticket so I went back into testing today to time it. My results In Minecraft: Java edition the Evoker took almost 2 seconds to summon its vexes. And in Minecraft (Bedrock codebase) it took 6.35 seconds to summon vexes; pretty much matching what was in my video.

Hopefully now with these videos comparing how long vexes should take to be summoned, you may know that this is definitely a bug. Don't rely on the Wiki, information from there isn't always accurate. Also, I will remove the world that previously was there for downloading since it no longer works.

Java is different than bedrock

for java it always spawn vexes first and summons quick

for bedrock it keeps summon fangs and sometimes spawn vexes
