My brother's tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab E) is only stuck on the Minecraft (Beta) and he can't get out, I tried to leave the beta program in the Google Play Store, but it doesn't work, and it's still in the beta process version.

Yes. You will have to re-install it. But you will lose all your worlds, texture packs, etc.

The worlds and other files will not be deleted if you change your storage to external instead of application. Just go to your profile tab in the game settings you should see a tab there that says storage location, (Title>Settings>Profile>Storage Location>Application )change that to external and your files should be fine. Just dont delete the 'extra files' if your device notifies you.
