Minecraft is not working anymore everytime i turn the game on it's stuck on the Minecraft white loading screen! I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game but it does not work!

Just a quick 'me too'.
Was playing the game yesterday, tonight it does not work.
Tried:
Restarting tablet (Samsung Tab 4)
Backed up and deleted worlds folder
Uninstalled app, deleted /games/com.mojang completed, restarted
re-installed app.
Still no-go.
Watching the network the game does call home when starting up for about 5-10 seconds, then no traffic and it appears to be hung.
Version 1.4.4.0 per the other reports.
Kids are still playing on the iPads just fine, my iPhone is fine but Android dead in the water.
Tried setting date to 1st June 2018 as it was mentioned somewhere that it might be a date related issue / bug but that made no difference, although I could reminisce about last month for a wee while. 🙂Â

Same issue happens to me. I have a Samsung A8 and it used to work just the day before. I tried reinstalling the game and checking for phone/software updates and everything is up to date.
Obviously I can't clear cache as that would delete my minecraft worlds. Here's the things i did before the game crashed that might help the devs.
1) Switching to survival and creative mode and teleporting between a few coordinates. Did this about 10 times.
2) The last mode I was in was survival, I used about 5 ender pearls.
3)Saved the game and left it on the world selection screen.
4) The app was still active in the background and I just closed the app via the android's "close all application" button.
5) After trying to open the mcpe app, it just gets stuck at the minecraft logo with the white screen.
6) All troubleshooting steps after this just results to the same white screen.
