Crashing on startup since new moving main screen

Hello,

     Ever since the update that makes the background on main screen move our IPads can no longer open a world.  Each time I try to access a world on my iPad Air or my son’s iPad mini the game just crashes and takes me back to my IPad screen.  We can still access realms on my the mini and we don’t do anything else on the air.
