New worlds keep vanishing

Bit of an odd one, couldn't find any related issues upon search, so looks like I'm making a new report! Since the latest update, I have attempted to start fresh in a new world twice now. Everything goes really well, loads fine, operates efficiently. And this will go on for days, working fine each time I play. But for some reason, almost if out of the blue, I'll go to turn my xbox on, load up Minecraft, and the new world which I have created and named will be gone from the list. Just vanished, not in the cloud, nowhere to be found. (Should've made a copy). Now, when I turn my console off at night, I turn it full off. No sleep mode. So it basically gets a hard reset daily. I thought that this might have something to do with it, but the world in question never comes back. There doesn't seem to any confusion between my xbox live (online) data and offline data, so I have absolutely no clue what's going on. I don't even want to load old worlds in fear that the curse might fall unto them as well. This has only affected two newly created worlds so far. I will start a third, to see if it happens again.

Update*: This problem continues. Every world (4 so far now) that I've created since this update has vanished. Each time using different seeds, (survival, no experimental gameplay) with varied progression. However worlds that were made PRE 1.5 that I've accessed since the latest update remain on the list. There appears to be more and more similar issues being reported related to power outages, and turning the xbox completely off, versus standby or "sleep" mode. Most people do this in order to conserve electricity, or to protect fragile electronics from stormy weather (which happens a lot where I live), or to simply cut down on temperature because these xbox power sources are like portable furnaces. Nevertheless, this seems to be the issue at hand here. It's just so odd how it just vanishes though. I mean, I get how disabling power every night severs that connection to Xbox Live, so your data can't be synced or updated during that time, hence why you check for daily updates. But for not just one, but multiple worlds to just disappear without a trace is just beyond me.

I just started my Xbox One after just over 3 months off, & those 2 worlds that disappeared are still gone.  Will start a new one & play that and will let you know if anything similar happens.

Received the update to version 1.8.0 a couple hours ago, and those 2 worlds came back exactly as they were last saved.  Now, though, I'm having trouble with memory full issues & can't play the worlds without freeing up space.  There is still 42% available space on my hd 1 tb drive.  One of my worlds is over 700mb & I couldn't leave the level 3 map area that I was currently exploring.  Not sure if that is related.  Roughly 1.3gig is used on map saves, which I do not want to delete any of.  Maybe there's a 1 gig limit that Minecraft is set for?

Regardless of these bugs, I feel this update is heading in the right direction.

^ The above that I mentioned may be unrelated to Minecraft Update.  Around the same time Xbox Live updated too, & had the so called "Black Screen of Death".  Factory resetted, & downloaded game again never expecting to see the worlds, yet, those worlds were there, thumbnail greyed, needing to be synced back in.  It looks like this is solely an Xbox service issue that has now been resolved.

Thank you to all who contributed to making Minecraft Better Together a place to be.  🙂
