Book & Quill deletes/corrupts pages

I tried to write a book for my realm's Jail (have not tested this on singleplayer) and the second page (with coordinates on it) continuously either gets deleted or corrupts when I close the book then open it again, or if I sign it. I attached a photo sequence of the typed page, then the corrupted page. I don't have a photo of the deleted page.

This happens on multiple books, not just a single book but every time I've tried to write. I've rewritten the book about 4 times now, as I've tried to sign it with no luck, the page with the coordinates keeps either getting deleted or corrupted.

(also, this is in release 1.6.2, your version list isn't updated)

Hello I am having this same issue.

Sometimes when i type coordinates into a book it just turns them into ### and removes all the formatting on the page (returns, symbols "-" etc).

I demonstrate this in This clip In one part it even just straight up doesn't save anything I typed.

I have same problem as @Isaiah7300. Specifically, any numerals typed in a page have a high chance of causing the entire page to be deleted on a subsequent opening of the book.  Or, sometimes, the numbers are just turned to '#'s.  Makes book/quill unusable.

Seems to have something to do with particular sequences of digits (e.g. it's almost always triggered by 3 digits, space/comma, 2 digits, space/comma, 2 digits, such as you may have in coordinates, but never triggered if you have all as 2 digits...).  Though it's been hard to pin down the exact necessary/sufficient conditions...

Bedrock 1.17.0 Realms server.  Also happened in 1.16.

Does not appear to happen in a local creative world.

Thanks in advance for any help.
