Roll back on realm affecting random members, not everyone

This has happened 3 times now over the past couple of days. I play for a length of time, log off. then the next day when i go back into the game, I have lost time (anywhere from 30 mins up to a couple of hours), the game has rolled back for me. This has happened to two or three others also. It seems random - it doesn't happen when I play for just a short time, save & quit, and come back. I have 'lost' significant amounts of in-game work thanks to this - well, not lost exactly, as it's like I have never done it in the first place, even though I did. Getting frustrating, hoping there's a fix.

Could you just confirm whether the whole realm is rolling back (for example, blocks you've placed are disappearing) or is it just your player save (inventory, player position etc)?

Well I thought it must be just me, my inventory and my position. However, after a long session mining, smelting what I mined, then logging off for the night, the next day I found not only my inventory and chests empty of the items I had obtained, but going back to the area I had worked, all ores were back in the ground and even mobs I encountered were encountered at the same place and dropped the same things, as though I had never been there. The problem is, whilst this has affected 2 or 3 others, other members on the realm have not reported any issues.

This happened to me yesterday too. I was experiencing some minor lag so I tried logging out and back in, but when I reconnected, the realm appeared to have rolled back about 30-40 minutes. However, I'm on Java not Bedrock.

One of the times it happened, it was like I had been disconnected but the game gave me no notification. Another couple of players were on with me. They left the realm, about 20 mins apart, and I remained on the realm. One of them (in this case my wife) came back after about half an hour and I did not see her join, and she told me she could not see me in the game on the player's list. We can see each other's screens as we usually sit side by side when we play. I went to her home in game and opened the door, I could see myself standing there on her laptop screen, and she could see me on my monitor, but on our own screens we could not see each other at all, it was like we were alone on the realm. So I saved and quit. Logged back in and found that I'd lost almost an hour and of course everything I'd done in that time.
