Whenever I try to load any of my worlds, the game crashes then returns me to my phone home screen.

No idea what you mean by beta worlds but the 3 worlds I have were only created a month or two ago, up until the other day, whenever I tried to play it, it became laggy, updated the game in hope it would be fixed but nope, worlds wont load now.

My students have also had this issue on their iPads since the update recently. They are about to compete in a interschool competition but keep whenever they enter their world they get about 2 secs before being booted and returning to start screen. They are using MinecraftPE Version 1.6.0. Need a solution fast as the competition is tomorrow afternoon. HELP
It is not a BETA version. These worlds have been created in the last 5 weeks.
