I always leave cheats and such off whenever I make a world, except occasionally changing the difficulty to peaceful if dealing with hazardous situations, but it's passively turned on still. I noticed magma slimes aren't dropping anything for me either, so my game could be the problem. I tried a copy and that too didn't solve it. Let me uninstall completely and then reinstall to see if that fixes anything.
I'm not sure if I can help, but when they get booted do you mean the app crashes? Or does it say "disconnected from server?"
If it's at all possible, create a backup of one of the worlds then see if it works in beta, that might help. If the backup doesn't work then it could be their account or the app version, or the server it's saved on if it's a realm.
Are they beta worlds? Or worlds you had long ago?
That's the thing, I also spent 10 entire minutes killing blazes by hand with a looting 3 sword, the entire time not a single one dropped a blaze rod, which is why I did the whole creative world to test it further. Here's the screenshots
I completely uninstalled the game and deleted all files before installing once more, and transferring my worlds back, and it seems to have fixed the problem. 5 minutes, no looting, I ended up with 4 blaze rods, so it's possible my game itself was corrupt somehow. I'm not sure if that means this could've been an isolated case, or if others have been affected too. Just in case it happens again I'll be sure to report it once more so that it can be further investigated.
