Both of my sons have a 2015 Fire HD 6 (4th Generation) and are playing version 1.6.1.0 of P.E., and neither can get past the "Minecraft" white screen for the past 2-3 weeks.
I cleared the cache, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, and searched the Internet for a solution, but have not found any fix. There seems to be a lot of other players having the same issue in forums, but no one has posted a fix.
Can someone please help me fix this?

However, this issue has been closed as a Duplicate of MCPE-35078.
Unfortunately we're still working on a solution for this issue, but from the other reports it is possibly linked to downloading the music pack from the store.
Please add a vote and any new information to the main ticket, which will be updated accordingly.

I had looked at the ticket you mentioned before submitting my own–it was referring to the Samsung Galaxy, where I am dealing with the Amazon HD Fire.
My boys do not have the music pack, so it's not that.

We fixed it! We reset my son's tablet to factory settings and repurchased/downloaded Minecraft PE and it let him into the program.
