World disappeared from the 1.7 better together edition

Hello,

Me and my wife just had our world disappear out of no where, just after saving and quitting it. We were trying to change the resource pack and it was taking a while to sync. I proceeded to cancel the sync and restart the game just to show that it had disappeared. My wife is in tears and I cant find any fixes to get it back. Our copy of the world has also disappeared.  I understand this may show as a duplicate post about a common issue, but pleas get back to this asap.
