Going into water turns screen black.

I created new world and decided look for an illigar village, I happen to find non, shocking. I went to rest in water, then everything except my buttons go black. I could not see my hand, the water, the fish, the drowned zombies, nothing but black and buttons. Upon leaving the water, I regain sight, but going back in, I see black again. Not being smart, I did not take a pic. I saved and quit, got back into the world, and the water was fine, please fix? Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit
