Nintendo switch error - "Global resources reset. Resources failed to load previously." Game closes.

When I open the software on my nintendo switch here is what happens.
1. It takes an abnormally long time to load past the white screen
2. An error message appears at the top left. "Global resources reset. Resources failed to load previously."
3. The switch pops up a message that says "The software was closed because an error occurred"
4. It sends me back to the switch home screen.

Additionally I have noticed that when I set the switch in airplane mode, I can get into my games.

My daughter is experiencing exactly the same problem with her switch. It takes four minutes to start Minecraft, the message appears in the upper right corner, then it crashes after a further ten seconds or so. She's not at all happy given that she saved her own money to pay for Minecraft and the Nintendo online service, but now can't use it

Is this really a duplicate of 39045? Just to reiterate, Minecraft remains utterly useless on my daughter's Switch two months after the initial report. We've heard nothing back from support apart from the initial automated reply. If this isn't going to be fixed, how do we go about getting a refund?

Word.  I am getting the same thing, and it isn't really a duplicate of the other one.

Who is the fool who said this issue is resolved and is a duplicate issue. It is NOT! Listen to Rob and David. My son also can no longer play Minecraft anymore. When he starts the game it goes to a white or black screen for literally ~20 minutes until the menu screen actually shows. Then it is laggy and freezy. How do i refund the game it doesnt work

We gave up waiting in the end and performed a factory reset on my daughter's Switch. Minecraft works as normal now, but obviously she lost all her saved games, etc. Disappointing.

Having this issue even did not  the factory reset did help.. still crashing with global resources failed to load error
