[MCPE-40159] Redstone just doesn't work?

I have a creative world on pocket edition, and no matter what, redstone does absolutely nothing. Levers don't work, redstone doesn't light up. Etc. I made another world that didn't have education edition on and redstone works fine. Is it due to education edition? And can I fix it without starting a new world?

Are you using an Old (limited) world type?
