i already have minecraft installed on my SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 8010 and now will not update the game. As I play the game with my partner and my daughter, I am now un able to play the game at all on my galaxy note 8010. Why hasn't it been updated???????????? This is so frustrating. I can't even reinstall the game, it says NOT COMPATIBLE with my device( Samsung galaxy note 8010). Why is it saying it's not compatible when I have it installed and played this game for a couple of years? Minecraft version is now on 1.8.0 on iOS. I can't even find this minecraft on the Google play store, so I can't tell you which version is on my galaxy note 8010. If this carries on I wonβt be able to play Minecraft at all on any device I have.Β

The drop box for the version would not let me put the new version in. What am I supposed to put in? Β

Do you have the latest OS released for your device?
The playstore doesnt show the app if your device version is lower than the minimum declared by the app
Minecraft now requires Android 4.2 or higher(which is pretty low considering most apps target 4.4 or 5) since October 11, 2015
From a quick google search I see your device released with Android 4.0 and it was updated up to 4.2.2, so if you have any updates it might work after that
