Commands in which @s "player" is used does not work properly

For example, I use the / testfor @s and coordinates command to not search for a player. This error is also in other commands that support @s. I have it on the day that it will be repaired because I can not end up with two maps.

Are you running the command in a command block?

Command blocks cannot use @s, try @p instead

this block command should use @s

in the command block it says that you can use @s so this is weird

So when you do it?

@s means "the thing running the command."

So by doing /testfor @s, you are testing for the command block. Command blocks aren't entities so it intentionally fails.

Okay, but I noticed that there is no glowing effect so maybe someday you could add 😃

I know this notification is already closed but it annoys me that I can't use @s in the command block and it would be useful for me to use the map or maybe you know some way to do it with add-ons?
