I always save the game in a safe location but twice now when I load the game to play again it states that I have died, this is a bug.

Does MCPE-38374 describe your issue?
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'awaiting response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce.
