The Autosave Bug Starts Like This. The bug starts when your FPS is low (Lagging). Minecraft's code makes it autosave more but it autosaves so much that it never stops. To fix this Minecraft should have a bare minimum timing for the autosaver so it doesn't overwork your device and crash you.

[1.13 Nintendo Switch]

I've been experiencing this "bug" when I played on the switch with local co-op. Switching to a Realm with my world mitigated this.

It was auto-saving so frequently that we would break maybe 10 blocks then wait over a minute for the save to complete. This made mining in the Nether impossible due to potential of exposing lava.

I am experiencing this bug too on Nintendo Switch. When autosaving, chunks don't load anymore, and you cannot mine or place blocks properly. It's a problem since the game is autosaving almost always and you cannot disable it. Specially affects local multiplayer. Please fix.

Thank you for your report!

I also have this problem I play on PS4 and every time it auto saves it lags usually in the worst times too

i have the same thing, im playing on switch, and every time the game autosaves, the blocks don't load in when you place them. they're there, because you can see they're selected when you point the crosshair at them, but the actual block doesn't load
