There is no join button and I can't even join a single world of hers and she can't join me. I can only play my own world and she could play her own world.

Can you confirm your version number and device/platform? You indicated Beta 1.9.0.5, but this version is not available for iOS.
Please also describe how you are attempting to join each other's worlds (Friends tab, Invite to Game button, etc.) and whether you are playing on the same LAN or attempting to join over Xbox Live.
