There’s this game when I enter my survival world I spawn above and die , It happened to me 2 Times losing my exp and losing some OF MY IMPORTANT STUFF LIKE DIAMOND Pickaxe with Enchantments luckily I only lost 2 diamond pickaxe. Hope this gets fixed because i Dont feel Like playing because OF this issue losing all my farmed exp which take so long to farm. I hope this gets fixed soon. P.S I was playing without wifi and also signed out from Xbox live to play offline.HOPE THIS GETS FIXEDDDDDD

Yes, this happen to me too. sometimes when I load or start to play my saved game, the game spawned me high above somewhere without any clue, then I will drop dead. It happen very fast, I cant even notice my coordinate, then I cant find my belongings where It erroneously spawn and lose all of them. Feel terribly angry... I am playing survival mode. There is no way to avoid it. terrible.. it is version 1.8.1 I am on android not IOS.
I think when I pressed home screen button, after the save screen is still saving, might have cause this. Once I load the saved world later, it happens. Might help, if only we close the apps after all saving progress is done, not before.
