When you chose the classic UI profile and edit a command block, you can't exit out, as the exit button is not on the screen.

Are you able to change the GUI Scale setting in the Video options (it's under the UI profile selector)? If so, what settings are offered?
I am using an iPadPro on iPadOS13 running version 1.12.1 and this bug still exists and has for an extremely long time. Thankfully you can just barely tap the x on my screen but it seems on this users screen you can’t even tap it. I have tried adjusting the screen-safe area as @Mega_Spud suggested and that actually made it worse as it makes it impossible to tap the x at all due to the nature of what screen-safe area does. Changing the GUI scale does fix it but that isn’t so fixing it as it’s more just avoiding the issue. I play with GUI set to 0 and that is the issue as the Command Block’s GUI is designed for -1 or less. Simply put this bug can be fixed by making the GUI of a Command Block the same size as it is when GUI is set to -1 when the user has it set to 0.
I have the same issue and it still exists in 1.14.60. Does Fix Version/s 1.15.0.56 Beta mean that a fix has been made in the beta which will be in an upcoming stable release?
Which device are you using specifically, please? Also, have you tried adjusting the screen-safe area? (Go to Settings→Video→Change Screen Safe Area.)
