Update by @unknown:
Summary:
Sometimes cactus cannot be smelted into green dye in a furnace. Looking at the items data, it seems that if the cactus block has a block state age of 1 or higher, then it won't smelt correctly. If the block state age is reset to 0 (by placing and breaking it again) then it can be smelted correctly.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a furnace down, and add fuel
Break a cactus block, and place the cactus into a furnace
Observed Results:
Sometimes, the cactus won't be smelted into green dye. Placing and breaking the cactus block again allows it to be smelted correctly however, as the block state age is reset to zero.
Expected Results:
The cactus should always be processed into green dye correctly.

Notes:
Original Description:
What happened to green dye? There is green everything else. No way to make those things without the dye.
Even in creative mode there is no way to get green dye.
Searched for answers but found nothing, so don't know if this is recent or not?
This is with experimental mode activated.

Please provide steps to how this bug occurred to you. Did you use the wrong furnace? did you misspell? Provide attachments or videos while you are at it.

In survival you can't smelt Cactus into Cactus Green/Green Dye. In Creative you can smelt.
There are no real STEPS to do it. Just try to smelt cactus.

I am in Creative mode but still was not able to reproduce this bug in the latest beta.

This bug is in SURVIVAL, not creative, mode.
Happened to me while trying to smelt cactus for the green dye, worked with one unit then I couldn't cook it anymore, no matter how (coal, bamboo, high furnace, etc)
Edit: tested on creative and survival on computer version (1.11.3), can't recreate this bug, i am currently reinstalling the xbox version, new test to check if the last update fixed this bug...

I uninstalled and reinstalled on Xbox One, and didn't fix anything. I still can't smelt cactus.
And yes the problem is in SURVIVAL.
I just pointed out that green dye is in creative because OP said it wasn't.
Confirmed, but this only appears to occur sometimes. Placing and breaking the cactus again seems to allow it to be smelted into green dye though.
Edit: Updated description - Cactus blocks with an age of zero can be smelted, so placing and breaking them is a valid workaround until this bug is fixed.

Ah, my bad. Yep, I got the bug to happen.
Fixed in 1.11.0.7 beta

Can confirm to be fixed in 1.11.0.7 beta.

I have the same issue in 1.12.0.4 beta.
Cannot reproduce on Windows 10.
