Furnaces in the 1.11.0.1 Beta for Windows 10 (running under Developer Mode) aren't taking their inputs as they did in the previous beta. So far I've noted the following:
Furnaces will not take dried kelp as fuel
Furnaces will not take bowls as fuel
Furnaces will not smelt sandstone into smooth sandstone with any fuel
Furnaces will not smelt stone into smooth stone with any fuel
Furnaces are not totally broken, however. Cooking beef and melting sand are still possible using coal.

Given the fact that both problems are shared by the same utility block, it seemed appropriate to report this as the block being bugged and not each function being bugged. Plus, with this beta's additions of blast furnaces and smokers, it seems likely that one correction would solve both problems.
That said, I've followed your advice and reported the first two issues as MCPE-42580.

However, this issue is Invalid.
Please put only one bug report in each ticket. It is very difficult to keep track of bugs when they are not in their own tickets, and it is easier for you to make multiple tickets than for the mods to separate them.
The last two issues is MCPE-42331.
