can't play on local multiplayer

i can't play with someone else in my house on local multiplayer. the world that i'm on isn't showing up on the other device.

What I expected to happen was...:
i thaugt that i could play with someone else in my house like i could in every other update

What actually happened was...:
I coudn't see the other player's worlds when he was on it

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure your wifi is on and go on a world
2. set the setting "local multiplayer" to on.
3. let a friend of you go on yhe same wifi net as you are and try to p,ay together
