When clicking the game icon and selecting a user, the game immediately encounters an error and crashes. It doesn't even make it to a title screen, the game simply crashes. The Switch detects no corrupt data and re-downloading the software yields the same results. This is fresh install on a brand new Switch running the latest OS version immediately after purchase on the eShop.

I have the same issue on my Switch version. Bought the game a few days ago and it has been unplayable as of today. It started out saving every few seconds it seemed like, which caused the rendering of the chunks to load slower while I was at sprinting speed. Usually it would freeze with a save icon, I go to the home menu to close the software, and then get the "the software has encountered an error and was closed". I was able to get by for a day from restarting it and playing my world like normal, but as of now can't even load my world before it gives that same error message. I've attempted about 20 times throughout the day with the same result. Doesn't seem to be an update for to game, so dunno how many others having this issue.
