Viewing large chest contents now requires scroll bar on PC

After new update, when opening large chests, not all of its contents are visible on screen. A scrollbar is now displayed, and I must scroll to view everything inside of the chest.

This occurs in both windowed and full-screen view while using Pocket Version UI.

The number of items displayed in each row is now less than it had been before the update because my inventory is now askew from showing as it previously did, and this seems to be the cause of the new scrolling requirement.

Edit: Upon further trial, I can replicate the previous view by actually decreasing my Minecraft game window width, as in the new image below ("correctedChestRatio"). It seems odd that my monitor aspect ratio now displays less items horizontally when the Minecraft game window is full size.

Ok quick question, is this going to be fixed or will I have to reorganise all my chests

This happens on all of my android devices too[minecraft PE], only worse. Not only do i need to scroll for large chests, but for my own inventory as well, yesterday it magically switched back, but after I updated it to 1.14, its messed up again. I dug all through my settings and I think it is related to the gui scale, which the only unaffected device doesn't have. I really want them to fix it, soon. It's been over a year.

I can confirm this bug is still present in current versions. Also if anyone is interested I have made a texture pack that fixes this issue.

Is this still an issue in the latest versions (1.16.201 or 1.16.210.58 beta)?

Does changing the GUI scale modifier (below the profile selection) resolve your issue?
